I had been sitting high on my CDMA horse for years, and when I picked up my first BlackBerry, I stuck with what I knew best. At times I thought about converting to GSM, but I never really saw the need. Having the BlackBerry Bold in my possesion for a few weeks now, I’m singing a different song. It is by far the greatest device I have used, and I am absolutely in love with it. I swapped back and forth between my Tour 9630 and the Bold 9700 at first, but after a while of balancing two devices, I fully jumped ship and am now dedicated to the Bold 9700. Some may argue that it is the best device RIM has ever cranked out, and I’m inclined to agree. The looks like some AT&T stores have already started receiving Bold 9700 units. The device is already available for business customers, and should be widely available on November 22nd. The Bold 9700 is one of the most anticipated devices to date, and in the words of Ferris Bueller “If you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up”. If you haven’t already grabbed one up from T-Mobile , then you only have another week or so to wait so hang in there. If you’re looking to get ahead of the game, it appears as if AT&T has made the 9700 OS available for download as well. We saw a similar situation when the Rogers OS popped up in the forums before the device had launched, but this time the OS is officially available from a carrier site. BlackBerry Bold 9700

RIM’s BlackBerry Bold 9700 is now available for sale at T-Mobile retail stores and online. The smartphone launched in late October and features a stylish design and full-QWERTY keyboard.

The 9700’s 624MHz processor and 256MB of internal memory should run applications with ease and the phone’s 1500mAh battery promises 6 hours of talk time. The new BlackBerry also comes with a 3.2 megapixel camera, aGPS technology, 3G and WiFi connectivity, and more.
